“We
aim to confront viewers with art that celebrates erotic acts as a whole person
expression, which also contemplates form, color and structure. Sin City Gallery
is known for presenting art experiences that cause the viewers to think with
their senses and feel with their minds,“ Debbe Sussman Sin City Gallerist
adds.“ 12 INCHES of SIN is a commitment by Sin City Gallery owners, to
promote sophisticated, visceral and thought-provoking artists who challenge and
inspire the viewer to confront established norms morally, artistically, and
spiritually, while never losing the fun inherent in the subject
matter.”
A
portion of the proceeds from art sales will be donated to the non-profit
organization, The Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and its Sisters AIDS

Reclined by Lincoln Maynard
Listen to Lincoln Maynard and
Scott Sandoval interview on KNPR's
STATE OF NEVADA with Luis Hernandez. The
artists reveal how 'the small of the back' inspires them in this 10 minute
interview.
Sin City Gallery presents this
minimalist group show that interprets those things that have softened and
inspired each of us to recollect a quiet past, an undemanding space, to lay ones
head or hand. It is a destination, a place, where one goes but does not get to
without going through the individual maze of the female form. Click here to
see additional works for The Small of the Back.
Lincoln Maynard's work is
50% off for the holidays.

ANIMA MOTRIX
Lolita Develay, Melissa
Herrington and Remy Holwick... January 5 - 29, 2012
They
Know by Lolita Develay
At
the center of each of us lies an "anima motrix" or "moving spirit". In the 17th
century, the astronomer Kepler used the term to describe the gravitational power
of the sun that caused the order and orbit of the planets. In the context of the
exhibition, "anima motrix", it is interpreted as the incredible gravitational
power of female sexuality that is the driving force that pervades our existence
and orders our lives. The show features three female artists, Lolita Develay,
Melissa Herrington and Remy Holwick who have each been carefully selected for
their strong and provocative vision as affected by this "moving
spirit".
