As illustrated in both articles, today's art market in general (and especially erotic art) is not so favorable to the artists themselves. In order to stay ahead, an artist must not only be talented and creative in the composition of their work, but most importantly they must learn how to market their work and becomes a good salesperson. The advancement in technology and the internet have served as a double-edged sword that works both for and against the art market. One must become very innovative on how/where to present their work, and use the most effective tools that will help their artworks to get noticed.
